Banchero recorded 50 points, 13 rebounds, nine assists and two blocks in a 119-115 victory over the Indiana Pacers, helping his team to 3-1 on the year.

Here's what he had to say on NBA Today on Tuesday:

Q. What does it feel like to be in that zone?

PB: “Yes, it takes a lot of energy, I have to say. But just being in that zone – honestly, I never lost 50 in high school or college. So I've really never been in a zone like that. “It was really amazing that it was on the biggest stage in the NBA and in front of (the Magic's) home fans.”

Q. How does it feel to hear chants of “MVP” in these moments?

PB: “It’s a dream come true. It feels like you're playing a great game at 2K…they start chanting 'MVP.'” I remember the first time (the fans) did it my rookie year, I remember , that sent shivers down my spine because I've never experienced anything like this before. It's just a surreal feeling to have an entire arena chanting “MVP.” . Something you always dream about as a kid, just playing in the park or in the driveway. I am so grateful to the fans for supporting me and the team.

Q. Did you get the match ball? And what would you do with it if you did?

PB: “Yes, yes. I have the game ball. I locked the shoes, jersey and everything away. I'm going to try to put a nice little design with my stat line on the game ball… and hang it up.” I might have the one in the house from my first triple-double last year, so I'll definitely have that one.

Q. You were quick to say last night that it's not just about you. As fans get to know this team better, I would like you to give us one word, if possible, to describe some of your teammates. I'll just screw her over. Are you ready?

PB: Yes.”

F. Jalen suggests.

PB: “Dog.”

F. Anthony Black.

PB: “Two words. I would say 'rising star'.”

F. Franz Wagner.

PB: “Consistent.”

Q. And if you were to describe this Magic team as a whole, what would you call it?

PB: “Relentless.”

Q. Your family is an integral part of the Seattle athletics community… your mother played in the WNBA, your father played tight end at Washington, your sister is a veteran soccer player, your brother is a quarterback in high school, the D1 plays on the field. Who is the best athlete in the Banchero family?

PB: “It’s me. It's me. I love my family; all my siblings are doing great things. My mom, she's a Hall of Famer at the University of Washington. But it’s me.”
