While Monday was a wet, drizzly day across Massachusetts, Tuesday was dry and will remain that way for the foreseeable future.

There will be excellent sky conditions overnight for viewing the Comet Atlas. The sky is mostly clear and you can see the western horizon 45 minutes after sunset.

Get ready for another chilly start to Wednesday. Away from the coast, morning lows will fall back into the mid to upper 30s. Near the water, lows will fall closer to the 40s. Still a chilly start for everyone, especially with a slight breeze in the air.

Winds won't pick up until the afternoon, making highs near 52-57 degrees feel like they're closer to the upper 40s and lower 50s. The rest of the day will remain dry and partly sunny.

Thursday morning will be the coldest this week. Away from the water, lows will be downright cold in the upper 20s and lower 30s.

On the coast and on the Cape, however, it was only in the 40s. Thursday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 50s, still fairly cool compared to average for this time of year. The dry conditions will last until Friday and the sky will be sunny. We'll start Friday morning with low to mid 30s outside the coast and 40s along the coast, the Cape and southeastern Massachusetts.

This weekend looks beautiful, even if the mornings will still be quite cool.

Saturday and Sunday morning will still be cold in the upper 30s, but a shift in the wind and lots of sun will actually warm us into the upper 60s and even low 70s in places.

On Monday morning we will finally break away from the bitterly cold mornings. It will still be chilly in the upper 30s and lower 40s. Mostly sunny skies will help warm into the low 70s. Tuesday morning will be even less cold in the mid to upper 40s. Skies will remain mostly sunny, with very warm high temperatures in the low to mid 70s.
