Death of Liam Payne: The former One Direction singer may have been under the influence of drugs before falling to his death from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Multiple reports revealed that Liam Payne's “erratic behavior” before his death had caused concern to hotel authorities. 911 received an alarming call from the hotel manager, who described dealing with a man who was “destroying the entire room while conscious.”

Photos of Liam Payne's destroyed hotel room have since gone viral on social media, along with a 2019 interview with him in which the 31-year-old star discussed his mental health struggles and drinking to cope with the pressures of fame.

LiveMint could not independently verify the authenticity of these images.

An eyewitness also mentioned that Liam Payne “broke his laptop” in the hotel lobby before being escorted back to his room. His erratic behavior continued until he was later found dead on the hotel terrace after falling from his third floor hotel balcony.

Some photos show powdery substances scattered all over the bathroom sink and a cigarette lighter lying around. Accordingly ReutersAn “aggressive man who may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol” was reported to police.

Another photo allegedly taken in Liam Payne's hotel room shows numerous items scattered around the room, including candles, aluminum foil, a Dove soap container, a burnt soda can lid and more.

“Killed me a few times…”

After photos of Liam Payne's hotel room and 911 information went viral, the former One Direction singer's struggles with mental health, which he discussed in an interview in 2019, have resurfaced.

“It almost killed me a few times,” Liam Payne once spoke about his loneliness in an interview with Sky News.

“There are times when this level of loneliness and people affect you every day. Just every now and then you ask yourself, “When is this going to end?” Payne mentioned it while talking to host Ant Middleton on the show.
