Despite his status as a political pariah four years ago, former President Donald Trump scored a decisive victory over Vice President Kamala Harris when he was elected to another term on Wednesday.

Trump's victory is being hailed as one of the most remarkable comebacks in the history of American politics. He was considered an outsider in Washington after losing the 2020 presidential election to Joe Biden – which he said was stolen – before taking part in the attack on the US Capitol by thousands of his supporters on January 6, 2021.

Influential in Trump's victory in 2024 was UFC CEO Dana White, who is one of his biggest public supporters. Through the UFC, White gave Trump a platform to appeal to young, male voters, which played a big role in his re-election.

That wasn't lost on Trump, who invited White to the stage on Wednesday to address his supporters at his Mar-a-Lago estate in West Palm Beach, Florida. White took the opportunity to celebrate his good friend's victory.

“No one deserves this more than him, and no one deserves this more than his family,” White said. “That’s what happens when the machine comes after you. What you have seen in recent years looks like this. I couldn't stop him, he keeps going, he doesn't give up, he is the most resilient and hardworking man I have ever met in my life, his family are incredible people.

“This is karma, ladies and gentlemen. He deserves this. They deserve it as a family.”

Before leaving the podium, White then thanked a list of influencers/podcasters who welcomed Trump as a guest on their shows during the campaign – the Nelk Boys, Adin Ross, Theo Vonn, “Bussin' with the Boys.” (Host: Will Compton and Taylor Lewan and finally “the mighty and mighty Joe Rogan.”

Trump spent three hours on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” the world’s most popular podcast hosted by the UFC commentator, on Oct. 25, less than two weeks before the election.
