“Dallas Cowboys Star in ‘Conversations’ at Deadline.”

The NFL trade deadline is less than 24 hours away and many in Dallas Cowboys Nation are wondering whether the team will be a buyer or a seller at the deadline – or most likely neither.

A new report from ESPN's Adam Schefter caused a stir following his appearance on the network Stand up! Morning show on Monday.

Schefter said the Cowboys shouldn't be looking for buyers, but teams are having “discussions” about whether star edge rusher Micah Parsons might be available at the right price.

“The magic solution is not to walk through that door, Greeny,” Schefter said. “No matter who they trade for, they won’t make a deal big enough to make a trade that would save their season. The decision has been made about what this team is right now. They're not going to go out and trade like I've often done with other teams.

“Well, maybe we should call the Dallas Cowboys to see if they would trade some of their players. Maybe we should look at whether they would be willing to leave Micah Parsons, which I don't think would be the case, but those are the conversations that are happening right now.”

These comments caused a stir.

If the team does indeed make the wild decision to trade Parsons, it would be the final nail in the Cowboys' 2024 coffin.

The outlook for the season is already bleak, and losing your best defensive player would almost show the rest of the league that you were never “all in.” You have simply set your team up for failure.
