Confused Elon Musk attacks Tim Walz late night after comments 'collapse'

2 minutes, 4 seconds Read

Elon Musk launched an attack on Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz overnight after calling the billionaire a “dips***” during a rally in Madison, Wisconsin.

“Elon is standing on that stage, jumping around and bouncing like a dipshit,” Walz said Tuesday, referring to Musk as former President Donald Trump’s “running mate.”

Musk first appeared alongside Trump during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where the first assassination attempt against the former commander-in-chief was carried out less than two months earlier. The videos of the billionaire jumping on stage when Trump called him quickly went viral.

Walz criticized Musk for the millions he poured into the Trump campaign.

“This guy is literally the richest man in the world and is spending millions of dollars to help Donald Trump buy an election,” the Minnesota governor said.

Musk responded to Walz on X on Tuesday afternoon, writing, “You will lose, @Tim_Walz. It was worth it to save the American people from the torture of hearing you speak for four years.”

Just after 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, Musk added that Walz looked like the clown emoji had “come to life.”

The billionaire also posted a meme of Walz saying, “Who am I, why am I here.”

Perhaps commenting on another swipe from Walz against Trump, Musk said that while working as a fry cook at a McDonald's in Pennsylvania over the weekend, he “looked a lot more like Ronald McDonald than the clown he actually is.”

The Minnesota governor noted that Trump had hinted that he might give Musk a position in his future Cabinet if he won the election, a suggestion that Trump later backed away from.

“In other words, Donald Trump is promising corruption before the eyes of the American public,” Walz told the crowd. “I don't think he'll keep many promises, but he'll keep this one. I guarantee he’ll keep this.”

Walz also criticized Musk's $75 million donation to a new political action committee, to which he is so far the only donor. The billionaire has also distributed $1 million in checks to people who sign his PAC's petition. It is a lottery that some experts call illegal and an attempt to buy votes.
