Carolina Panthers at Washington Commanders: Predictions, Tips, Odds

The Washington Commanders (4-2) are coming off a tough loss, but one of the first surprises in the NFL will have a chance to get back on the winning side when they visit the Carolina Panthers (1-5).

Another week, another double-digit loss for the Panthers, who have lost three games in a row, all in disastrous fashion. The offense is mediocre at best, but the defense doesn't seem to be able to stop much. There doesn't seem to be any hope for the team to go in the right direction, but it desperately needs a spark.

Washington tried to fight back against the Baltimore Ravens, but came up just short of winning. Nevertheless, the Commanders remain at the top of the NFC East and can extend their lead with a home win.

Lorenzo Reyes: Commanders 36, Panthers 14

The Panthers are 1-5 against the slate and have lost their games by an average margin of 20.8 points per game. The Commanders played hard against the Ravens and I think they will look for a rebound here. Above all, I don't think Carolina is pressuring Jayden Daniels. And giving him that much time to throw could result in another bang.

Tyler Dragon: Commanders 28, Panthers 17

Last week was a litmus test for Jayden Daniels and the Commanders. Washington lost, but there are positives they can take from Week 6. Now the Commanders face possibly the worst team in the NFL. Daniels and the Commanders were scheduled to face Carolina.

Richard Morin: Commanders 35, Panthers 20

Jayden Daniels' Commanders played well in their loss to the Ravens in Week 6, but they'll still try to beat someone. Carolina will play punching bag.

Jordan Mendoza: Commanders 31, Panthers 16

Jayden Daniels doesn't have time to dominate the Panthers' defense. The margin is wide, but Carolina has lost its last three games by an average of 18 points.
