Black Ops 6 Season 1 release date has leaked online as new Warzone map Area 99 is set to release

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is out in less than two days, but the game's first live season won't go live for a few weeks. Season 1 will also include new maps, modes and other extras alongside the first Black Ops 6 Battle Pass. It will also be the first time the game is fully integrated into free-to-play war zone, which will also include a brand new Resurgence map, Area 99.

Activision has not announced Season 1 yet. The publisher is likely waiting to release these details until after launch so that players – and the marketing department – can focus on the game's release and pre-season content.

However, the start date for season 1 has already been leaked thanks to a promotional partnership with pizza chain Little Caesars. Call of duty has partnered with Little Caesars in the past, giving away cosmetics, including Operator skins, as well as XP tokens to players who make qualifying purchases there. An Operator skin you can't find anywhere else is a reasonably good reason to buy pizza (which is what I did for game night back in the day). Modern Warfare III started last year).

Here's some of what you can get:

According to players who have already purchased some cakes and received emails from Little Caesars about their rewards, Season 1 of Black Ops 6 / Warzone starts on Thursday, November 14th:

“You have unlocked 15 minutes of Dual 2XP + a Battle Pass through the LITTLE CAESARS x CALL OF DUTY promotion!” The screenshot email above reads: “Your Dual 2XP will be delivered to your Activision account on October 25th. The Battle Pass will be delivered to your Activision account at the start of Season 1 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on November 14th.”

Of course, this is not an official announcement, so this information could be incorrect and could also change if the Season 1 schedule is pushed back (or forward). So take all of this with a grain of salt. It's also possible that “Area 99” will appear later in the season rather than at the beginning of the first season, which could push the release back to December.

That would be a relatively quick start for a first season Call of duty almost three weeks after the start. Modern Warfare III was released on November 10th and Season 1 didn't arrive until December 6th, almost four weeks later.

Black Ops 6 launches with 16 brand new maps, including 4 small “Strike” maps used for the Gunfight and Faceoff modes (read my interview on these tiny maps here), with Nuketown releasing between launch and Season 1. The game will feature a full single-player campaign, turn-based Zombies mode and a complete arsenal of new weapons. None of the content of Modern Warfare II or Modern Warfare III is transmitted Black Ops 6 But weapons, operators and other cosmetics from all three games will be playable in War zone.
