Barron Trump: Everything you need to know about Donald Trump's youngest son

1 minute, 27 seconds Read

Barron Trump is the youngest son of former US President Donald Trump.

Trump welcomed Barron in 2006, shortly after he tied the knot with his third wife, Melania, in 2005.

Barron is Donald's fifth and Melania's first child.

Born in 2006, Barron grew up in the Trump family's opulent penthouse in New York City and attended elite private schools on Manhattan's Upper West Side.

When Donald Trump took office in January 2017, Melania and her son stayed in New York City for several months so Barron could complete his academic year. Over the summer, Barron visited his family at the White House.

Melania has always tried to protect Barron from the public.

Barron turned 18 on March 20, 2024 and attends New York University's Stern School of Business.

When discussing his son's decision to go to NYU, the Republican presidential candidate said they also considered the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, where he went.

“It (NYU) is a very high quality place. He liked it. He liked the school. I went to Wharton, and that was certainly one we thought about. We didn't do that. We chose Stern.”

Trump said Barron was already interested in politics and was advising him on how to persuade Generation Z to vote for him. Barron was his father's brainchild, hosting a livestream with Adin Ross and other popular streamers.

“Adin Ross, you know, I mean, I'm doing some people that I wasn't as familiar with, a different generation. He knows every single one of them. And we had tremendous success,” Donald said.

About 41 million Gen Z voters will cast their ballots in the 2024 U.S. election, and whoever capitalizes on that could win the keys to the White House.
