Atlanta Falcons inactive in Week 9 against Dallas Cowboys

ATLANTA – Although inside linebacker Troy Andersen was a limited participant in two of the Falcons' three Week 9 practices (and was a full participant Friday), he was listed on the team's inactive list before the start of Mercedes' game against the Dallas Cowboys -Benz Stadium this Sunday. Andersen was originally listed as questionable on the team's game report on Friday.

The Falcons have been without Andersen since he suffered a knee injury in Week 4 against the New Orleans Saints. With fellow inside linebacker JD Bertrand out all week with a concussion, the Falcons added Rashaan Evans to the 53-man roster on Saturday to make up for a lack of depth at inside linebacker behind starters Kaden Elliss and Nate Landman .

As for the other Falcons player listed as questionable on Friday, the team has starting right guard Chris Lindstrom available ahead of their Week 9 matchup.

Lindstrom left last Sunday's game in Tampa Bay with a knee injury. He initially told reporters in the postgame locker room that he was ready for Week 9, with head coach Raheem Morris confirming that the Falcons could have used Lindstrom again last Sunday but decided against it out of an abundance of caution. He should return to the starting lineup as the Falcons host the Cowboys.

Here is the Falcons' complete list of Week 9 inactives:
