At halftime the Dolphins lead the Bills 10-6

1 minute, 13 seconds Read

The Dolphins used a Josh Allen interception to score a touchdown in the second quarter and still held a 10-6 lead over the Bills at halftime.

Buffalo and Miami traded field goals in the first quarter and it looked like the Bills would take the lead in the second quarter. But defensive back Jalen Ramsey stopped that push in the red zone and intercepted an Allen pass that slipped out of Keon Coleman's hands to give the Dolphins additional possession.

Miami took advantage and drove 97 yards for a touchdown. De'Von Achane scored on a 14-yard pass from quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to give Miami a 10-3 lead.

The Bills mostly moved the ball but didn't score a touchdown in three red zone trips. Late in the half, Buffalo should have had a 21-yard touchdown from Allen, but a highly questionable holding call by guard O'Cyrus Torrence prevented that.

The Bills ultimately had to settle for a 49-yard field goal from Tyler Bass, which made the score 10-6.

Allen is 12 of 19 passing for 79 yards with one interception. With Amari Cooper inactive due to a wrist injury, Khalil Shakir led the way with four catches for 24 yards.

On the other hand, Tua Tagovailoa is 10 of 11 for 82 yards with a touchdown. Raheem Mostert had 35 yards on seven carries, while Achane managed six carries for 34 yards. Achane led with his TD with three catches for 28 yards.

The Dolphins get the kickoff for the second half.
