US elections 2024 live: Harris and Trump's final push before Election Day takes them to the same part of Pennsylvania

Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump delivered their final messages to voters in neighboring areas of Pennsylvania on Monday, seizing the final full day of campaigning in a state crucial to their electoral success.

Both candidates focused on the southeastern region of Pennsylvania, with Trump speaking in Reading, about 30 miles from Allentown, where Harris held her event shortly after.

“If we win Pennsylvania, we win the whole ball of wax,” Trump said. “It's over.”

A Trump victory in Pennsylvania, which would give him 19 Electoral College votes, would significantly dent the Democratic stronghold and complicate Harris' path to reaching the required 270 votes.
Harris, who represents the Democratic Party, turned her attention Monday to Pennsylvania, the key state expected to decide the Electoral College results, and shared her clear-headed perspective.

“We need everyone in Pennsylvania to vote,” she said. “You will make the difference in this election.”

Harris' schedule included visits to Allentown and Scranton – President Joe Biden's hometown – followed by Reading. Their itinerary concluded with a planned stop in Pittsburgh before a final evening rally in Philadelphia featuring performances by Lady Gaga and Oprah Winfrey.
