Welcome back to Lumon.

After nearly three years, Severance is back with the first trailer for the highly anticipated second season, debuting on Apple TV+ on January 17th.

In the trailer, Adam Scott's Mark S. returns to the office after exposing his “innie” to the outside world and learns that his wife (who he thought had died in a car accident) is actually alive and with Ms. Casey works as a wellness consultant.

After frantically rushing through the bright white hallways, Mark enters his workplace to find three unknown Lumon employees sitting at the desks previously occupied by Helly (Britt Lower), Irving (John Turturro) and Dylan (Zach Cherry). sat. His delightfully creepy manager, Milchick (Tramell Tillman), welcomes him to the office with balloons decorated with Mark's face.

“Severance” follows a group of employees at a mysterious company whose work and personal lives have been “separated” through an experimental procedure. The first season ended with an incredibly good cliffhanger, which made the wait between seasons even more unbearable.

The first season of the sci-fi workplace thriller premiered in February 2022, and filming of the second season was impacted by the Hollywood strikes and reported creative disputes. Apple TV+ released a 10-episode teaser for the second season in July.

The cast also includes Patricia Arquette, Christopher Walken, Dichen Lachman, Jen Tullock and Michael Chernus. And joining the cast for Season 2 are Gwendoline Christie, Alia Shawkat, Bob Balaban, Merritt Wever, Robby Benson, Stefano Carannante, John Noble, Ólafur Darri and Sarah Bock.

“Severance” was created by Dan Erickson, who serves as executive producer along with director Ben Stiller, Scott, John Lesher, Mark Friedman, Nicky Weinstock, Jackie Cohn, Caroline Baron, Sam Donovan and Richie Schwartz. Arquette is a producer on the second season and the fifth season (formerly Endeavor Content) is the studio.

Turturro teased the upcoming episodes of “Severance.” diversity in September and said: “I think it's going to be a really interesting second season. We dive into the unknown that the audience is waiting for and then do it gradually.”

Stiller added: “It took a long time. I hope it's good. You know, people just want something to match what they've experienced and hopefully it won't let them down. And I don’t know, all you can do is try to do what you think is good.”
