Expert decoded the body language of “Crown Jewel” Melania and “Alpha” Barron Trump.

Barron Trump is now the anointed child that Ivanka was in 2016, but she and Jared are now in the background, body language expert Judi James decoded the new balance of power in the Trump family for the Daily Mail, looking at where they stood and how they reacted when Donald Trump gave the victory speech.
In 2016, Ivanka and her husband were right behind Melania and little Barron. Ivanka's body language in 2016 resembled that of the First Lady and not her daughter because she was the “anointed one.”
But in 2024, Ivanka and Jared stood next to Vice President-elect JD Vance and his wife Usha.
And Melania is portrayed as Trump's greatest asset and jewel in the political crown and Barron Trump is the anointed child. Judi James said Melania's styling was corporate and her poses on election night were confident and strong. The expert noted that Barron, who stands out for his 6-foot-3 frame and is always the tallest person in any room, struck an alpha pose while standing next to his mother and father.
Eric Trump's wife Lara Trump, the co-chair of the Republican National Committee, has also risen to prominence, inserting herself into every photo in which Trump appeared with an “expression of victorious determination.”
“Ivanka breaks away from her father”
The body language expert said unlike Lara, who reacted non-verbally to everything her father-in-law said, Ivanka distanced herself from her father. “She no longer fully responds to everything her father says, like Lara did, her eye expression seemed more distant and a little sad, and she was noticeably out of tune with the audience and other friends and family when it came to applause,” said James said.
Donald Trump Jr.'s ex-wife Vanessa Trump, their daughter Kai Trump and Don Jr.'s fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle were also in attendance.
