Dave Portnoy And Josh Richards Are Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPagliais the ultimate defender of after their breakup Zach Bryan.

The “BFFs” podcast hosts released a dissident track titled “Smallest Man” on Wednesday, November 6th. Although the song was removed from YouTube due to copyright issues, the music video is still available to watch on Instagram.

“I said, trust me, your pants caught fire / Tinder, Bumble, Raya, knew you were a liar,” the song begins. “You’re an idiot, you just made yourself a new rival / Soon you’ll need a revival.”

In the music video, Portnoy, 47, and Richards, 22, are dressed as police officers and run over a man who looks like Bryan, 28, who is driving a pickup truck.

Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia and her colleagues at Barstool Sports are opening up about her ex-boyfriend Zach Bryan – especially since he apparently blocked them all on Instagram. The “BFFs” podcast – which LaPaglia, 25, co-hosts with her boss Dave Portnoy and TikTok star Josh Richards – announced a song called “Smallest Man” is set to be released (…)

The texts say Bryan “messed up” and tells him to “post it on your Instagram story.”

Bryan announced his split from LaPaglia in a social media post late last month (hence the Instagram reference). The Barstool Sports personality – co-host of the podcasts “BFFs” and “PlanBri Uncut” – claimed she was “blindsided” by the announcement and claimed she and Bryan agreed to keep the breakup news private.

Portnoy and Richards wasted no time in taking shots at Bryan on the track, referencing the titles of his songs “Revival” and “I Remember Everything” in the lyrics.

“You say you remember everything, I guess not because you forgot your wedding ring. This isn't a subtweet, I won't be subliminal, you're great at being country without a second syllable,” Richards sings. “My fist plus your face, easy complement / The way you wronged her is disgusting.”

Bryan was briefly married to Rose Madden for one year from 2020 to 2021. He continued to move along Deb Peifer Shortly after, they dated for two years before splitting in May 2023. In July of that year, Bryan began dating LaPaglia.

Richards also references Bryan's Oklahoma roots, saying, “But you're from OK, well, OK, when you say that / Kind of ironic, 'cause soon you're gonna get that KO.” (Bryan's song “Oklahoma Smokeshow” is featured on this one Part of the dissident title also mentioned.)

“Looking for pink skies but now you see stars / There's something in the orange and you're behind these bars, bitch,” the song continues, before transitioning into the audio of Bryan's arrest in September 2023. (Bryan was arrested for obstructing the investigation and released on bail shortly afterwards.)

Portnoy later calls Bryan “ugly” and throws shade at the singer's “s—ty tats.” The Barstool Sports founder also says that Bryan's “head looks like a Lego brick” and he has hair “like Homer Simpson.”

The friendship between Dave Portnoy and Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia has come a long way over the years. Portnoy, 47, founded Barstool Sports in 2003, but LaPaglia, 25, joined the team much later. “Country singing boss, baby, give the boy a snack / Throw another tantrum, it's time for a nap,” the lyrics continue. “I think you’re on some s-tryna dissidence Taylor SwiftHe wrote hundreds of gram stories and apologized like a bitch.” (Bryan wrote about X in September that he believes Kanye West was better than Swift. He later apologized for the message and claimed he had been drinking.)

Portnoy also accused Bryan of trying to “break up” LaPaglia and her best friend. Grace O'Malley. (The couple has stated that they are still friends but went through a rough patch last year.)

“Consider this a warning to the next girl who goes out with you,” Portnoy sings. Richards chimes in, adding, “We know for a fact your whole band hates you.”

The dissident track ends with a snippet of Bryan's song “28,” which is about his relationship with LaPaglia.

“How lucky is Bri to be free of ZB,” sing Portnoy and Richards, tweaking Bryan’s original lyrics.

LaPaglia took a mental health break from both podcasts in the wake of her split from Bryan. But at the end of the song it is announced that a new episode of “BFFs” will be released on Thursday, November 7th.
