Maine voters will decide on five referendums Tuesday, including several bonds, limiting donations to political action committees and changing the official state flag back to the original 1901 design with a pine tree and a blue star.

Follow the results of the five referendum questions once polls close at 8 p.m

Question 1: $5,000 limit on some political donations

Do you want to place a $5,000 cap on donations to political action committees that independently spend money to support or defeat candidates for office?

Question 2: $25 million research and development bond

Do you favor a $25 million bond issue to provide funds that will be awarded through a competitive process and leverage at least a 1:1 ratio of matching private and state funding for research, development and commercialization for the Maine public? and private institutions to support technological innovation in the target sectors of life sciences and biomedical technology, environmental and renewable energy technology, information technology, advanced technologies for forestry and agriculture, aquaculture and marine technology, composites and advanced materials, and precision manufacturing?

Question 3: $10 million bond for historic building restoration

Do you support a $10 million bond to restore historic buildings owned by government and nonprofit organizations, with spending of the funds contingent on a 25 percent local matching requirement from private or nonprofit sources?

Question 4: $30 million bond

Do you prefer a $30 million bond to invest in design, development and maintenance? not motorizedmotorized and multi-use trails across the state to be supplemented by at least $3 million in private and public contributions?

Question 5: Change of the national flag

Do you support making the former state flag, which was replaced as the state's official flag in 1909 and commonly known as the Pine Tree Flag, the state's official flag?
