Kamala Harris' campaign said there were still “votes to be counted” after she canceled her post-verdict speech at Howard University.

“We still have to count votes. We still have states that haven't been called yet. “We will continue to fight overnight to ensure that every vote is counted, that every voice has spoken,” Kamala Harris campaign co-chair Cedric told Richmond. “So you won’t hear from the vice president tonight, but you will hear from her tomorrow.”

Harris, who has not conceded the election, was scheduled to host her election night party at Howard University in Washington, D.C., a historically black college where she studied.

It comes after that Associated Press declared the crucial swing states North Carolina, Georgia and Pennsylvania for Donald Trump. Trump currently has 267 votes in the Electoral College to Harris' 224.
