Watch Live: Trump speaks as Harris' path to victory narrows

Former President Donald Trump speaks early Wednesday morning at his election night headquarters in West Palm Beach, Florida, as Vice President Kamala Harris' path to victory narrows. Senator JD Vance and Trump's family were on stage with him.

CBS News has not yet made a prediction Presidential raceas Trump currently does not have the votes to declare victory.

So far, the battleground states that CBS News is predicting Trump will win are North Carolina, Georgia and Pennsylvania. CBS News rates Wisconsin as a Trump supporter. He needs 270 electoral votes to win.

Harris was expected to celebrate election night at her alma mater, Howard University, but after midnight, Harris campaign coordinator Cedric Richmond told the crowd that she would not be speaking to supporters tonight. Harris remained at the vice president's residence in Washington, DC

Trump supporters at his election party in West Palm Beach were optimistic Tuesday night as the results came in, with Fox News playing in the background. Those supporters included Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Senator Marco Rubio and North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum.

Trump has long expressed doubts about the integrity of the election and its results. But he remained largely silent on social media Tuesday night as the results appeared to be in his favor.
