The Detroit Pistons play on the second night of consecutive Mondays to what is expected to be a sold-out crowd, with LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers visiting Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.

The Pistons left the Eastern Conference basement with a 106-92 comeback win at the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday. Cade Cunningham led six Pistons in double figures with 19 points.

This is the fourth game of a five-game road trip for the Lakers. They won 131-125 in Toronto on Friday, led by Davis with 38 points and 12 rebounds and James with 27 points and 10 assists.

Who knows, it could be James' last game in Detroit. He turns 40 in December but has averaged 22.2 points on 44.1% 3-point shooting in six games, with 7.2 assists and 6.7 rebounds per game. That's after he led Team USA to a gold medal in France in August.

His son Bronny James could also play against the Pistons as the Lakers list a lengthy injury report. Bronny, a 20-year-old second-round rookie draft pick from USC, appeared in two games, playing a total of eight minutes.

The Lakers have won seven straight games against the Pistons, with Detroit's last win coming on January 28, 2021 at LCA. Los Angeles leads the all-time regular series series 214-134.
