KANSAS CITY – When the Chiefs take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football, they'll have more than just their undefeated record to worry about, as storms could cause major problems in Kansas City.

The central U.S. is already on alert as severe weather will threaten areas from Texas to Missouri on Monday, with some areas experiencing a third straight day of severe weather.

Kickoff at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. CT, and Monday's ongoing storms are already drenching the field.

Flood warnings were issued south of Kansas City as storms inundated Missouri.

While the Chiefs are the favorite to win in today's game, Storms could force Patrick Mahomes and Baker Mayfield to rely heavily on the running game, although both teams will be without major offensive weapons.
