The Clemson Tigers look to get off to a strong start on Saturday against the Louisville Cardinals after coming off a bye week.

Clemson returns to Memorial Stadium for an ACC matchup hoping to bolster its record for the College Football Playoff. According to the Allstate Playoff Predictor, the Tigers have a 42 percent chance of making the playoffs if they beat Louisville. With a loss it goes to nine percent.

The team battled back and forth with the Cardinals in the first quarter as neither team got on the scoreboard. That changed at the beginning of the second quarter.

Quarterback Cade Klubnik led the Tigers on an 11-play, 75-yard drive that ended with a 12-yard touchdown reception by Antonio Williams.

Williams' catch was the second-year wideout's sixth receiving touchdown of the season.

Cade Klubnik, who turned the fortunes of his Clemson career around this season, entered the season with the fifth-best quarterback rating (87.5) in the country. Against Louisville so far tonight he is 9 of 12 with 56 passing yards and a touchdown. A slow start, but it was enough to take an early lead.

The Clemson defense has held the Cardinals 1 for 3 on third-down conversions while trying to slow senior quarterback Tyler Shough's tough passing attack.

A win on Saturday would improve the Tigers' record to 7-1 on the season and 6-0 in conference play.

The game is available on ESPN.
