Harvard 31-27 Dartmouth (November 2, 2024) Game Recap

HANOVER, NH – Jaden Craig threw for 311 yards and a touchdown, Charles Deprima rushed for two touchdowns in the fourth quarter and Harvard defeated Dartmouth 31-27 on Saturday to secure its fifth straight victory.

It was the only FCS contest on Saturday in which two teams suffered one or fewer losses this season. The winning streak for Harvard (6-1, 3-1 Ivy League) is its longest since the start of the 2015 season with eight straight wins.

Deprima pulled Harvard within 27-24 with 5:59 left in the fourth quarter after capping a 14-play, 94-yard drive with a 6-yard TD. After Dartmouth made the three-pointer, Harvard needed three minutes and 32 seconds, which ended in a 9-yard touchdown run by Deprima with just 27 seconds left.

The Crimson won at Dartmouth (6-1, 3-1) for the 14th time in 15 meetings since the start of 1994, including a 28-13 decision in 2022.

Deprima scored first on Harvard's first possession of the game and Kieran Corr hit a 32-yard field goal before Dartmouth scored the next 20 points for a 10-point lead late in the third quarter.

At the end of the third quarter, 21 points were scored in the final (3:03). Dartmouth QB Jackson Proctor connected with Chris Corbo from 11 yards and Daniel Haughton from 72 yards, sandwiched around Craig's 29-yard TD pass to Seamus Gilmartin.

Cooper Barkate led Harvard's receivers with 124 yards.

Proctor passed for 235 yards and two touchdowns for Dartmouth.
