FARGO – Jack Primus caught a 21-yard touchdown pass from Frankie Meagher There are 12 seconds left in the fourth quarter to lead Upsala-Swanville to a 19-12 win over Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa for the Minnesota Class 1A, Section 4 football championship at the Fargodome.

Upsala-Swanville won its first section title since 2014. Primus' touchdown catch broke the decisive 12-12 tie.

Parkers Prairie earned a 42-12 win over West Central Area to claim the Class 1A, Section 6 running back title Isaac Ruckheim had three rushing touchdowns for the Panthers.

Run back Colbe Tappe scored four touchdowns and helped Staples-Motley to a 36-30 win over Osakis for the Class 2A, Section 6 championship.

Run back Major Ness scored two touchdowns and helped Barnesville to a 46-22 win over Hawley for the Class 2A, Section 8 championship.

Fergus Falls and Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton are also scheduled to play for a section title.
