Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Minnesota Wild Prediction, Odds and Tips

1 minute, 26 seconds Read

The Tampa Bay Lightning make the second stop of their four-game road trip against the Minnesota Wild on Friday night at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. The Lightning started the road trip with an impressive 5-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche as Jake Guentzel scored two goals while providing Andrei Vasilevskiy with more than enough offensive support. Tampa Bay has won three straight, its best winning streak since the start of the season with three straight wins from October 11-17. The Bolts are 11-4 outscoring the competition in their last three wins, all behind Vassy.

The Wild cruised to a 4-2 win over the Lightning as mediocre underdogs on Oct. 24 at Amalie Arena in Tampa, with Marc-Andre Fleury making 24 saves on 26 shots to edge out Vasilevskiy – who made just 14 saves to 17 Losing shots. Kirill Kaprizov, Joel Eriksson Ek and Matthew Boldy scored goals to make it 3-2, while Kaprizov fired a goal into an empty net to tie the score and help the game increase its score total in most stores. Minnesota is 5-1 in its last six games and has lost just once in nine games during the regular season. I support the Wild at home and will continue to do so until they start to cool down.
