Amber Alert for missing children from Minnesota, mom

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) – The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office is asking for help finding a pregnant woman and her four children who were escaped at gunpoint from a residence northeast around 1:50 a.m. Friday, November 1st were kidnapped by Brainerd.

The kidnapped woman is Nikkole Dobson, 33 years old. She is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 198 pounds, has green eyes and reddish-brown hair. Their four children are Brandon (14), Haley (11), Gracie (7) and Chloe (3).

Dobson and her children were taken by her boyfriend, Chad Aanerud, who is 35, 6 feet tall, 185 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. Aanerud drives a white 2017 Chrysler Pacifica minivan with a Minnesota license AEC 351.

Aanerud arrived around 1:50 a.m. at a residence in the 15000 block of Loerch Road, where Dobson and her children lived. He fired a bullet into the ceiling of the apartment building, forcing Dobson and her children to leave with him.
