Ravindra Jadeja rocked New Zealand in the first innings of the third Test against India on Friday, including two instances where the veteran left-arm spinner struck twice in one over.
After taking an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series, New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and reached a good position at 159 for 4, with a well-adjusted Will Young and Daryl Mitchell adding 87 runs on the sidelines.

But the introduction of Ravindra Jadeja made things increasingly difficult for the Kiwis as he immediately turned and jumped and held the visitors back with a double strike after lunch in the 45th over.
He dismissed Young (71), caught by Rohit, on the second ball of his over and then bowled a flawless delivery to Tom Blundell to send him to a three-ball duck. 159 to 3 became 159 to 5.

The sharp turn continued to trouble the Kiwis as Jadeja took the next three wickets to fall, starting with the clatter of the stumps behind Glenn Phillips (17).
Seven overs later, in New Zealand's 61st innings, Jadjea caught Ish Sodhi (7) ahead and then dismissed Matt Henry (0) for his second double-wicket over of the day. It also brought up his 14th five-wicket haul.
That put the Kiwis on the mat at 210 for 8 and the innings collapsed soon after when off-spinner Washington Sundar joined in the fun, dismissing first top-scorer Mitchell (82) and then Ajaz Patel (7) to take his impressive play to end 4 for 81.
New Zealand were bowled out for 235 in 65.4 overs.
