1 minute, 44 seconds Read

Deadpool & Wolverine, one of the biggest films of the year, will finally be available to stream at home on Disney+ on November 12th.

The news was revealed on Wednesday in a sizzle reel released by Marvel, revealing next year's TV lineup, which includes the live-action series “Daredevil: Born Again,” “Ironheart” and “Wonder Man,” as well as the animated series “Your Friendly Neighborhood” includes Spider-Man,” “Eyes of Wakanda,” and “Marvel Zombies.”

The superhero film starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman is the second highest-grossing film of 2024 and grossed a whopping $1.3 billion at the global box office. It recently surpassed “Barbie” ($636.2 million) to become the 12th highest-grossing North American release in history. It is also considered the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time.

Directed by Shawn Levy (“Free Guy,” “Night at the Museum”), the film follows Reynolds' Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool, whose peaceful life falls apart when the Time Variance Authority intervenes in his life. He soon befriends Wolverine (Jackman) to save his world from a multiversal threat. It is the first entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to headline comic book characters previously licensed to 20th Century Fox, which was acquired by the Walt Disney Company in 2019.

VIP+ Analysis: Deadpool & Wolverine Highlights Much-Needed Evolution in the MCU

The film is packed with cameos galore, most notably Chris Evans, who returns to the Marvel Cinematic Universe to play Johnny Storm, aka Human Torch, from his first superhero role in Fox's “Fantastic Four.” He's joined by Jennifer Garner's “Elektra,” Wesley Snipes' “Blade,” Dafne Keen's “X-23” and Channing Tatum's “Gambit,” who never actually appeared in any of Fox's “X-Men” films but it had long been rumored that he would make a standalone film.

Other MCU characters also appear, including Jon Favreau's Happy Hogan, the Hulk and Wunmi Mosaku's Hunter B-15 from “Loki.” Then there are all the Deadpool and Wolverine variants: cameos from Henry Cavill as Cavillrine; Reynolds' wife Blake Lively voices Ladypool; Matthew McConaughey briefly voices Cowboy Deadpool and Nathan Fillion is Headpool, a disembodied, floating head.
