Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz on Thursday mocked Donald Trump for his clumsy garbage truck gimmick.

“This guy is almost 80 years old,” Walz said at a campaign rally in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. “He almost killed himself getting into a garbage truck.”

The crowd laughed at the Democrat's reference to an incident from Wednesday This ends the Trump campaign's attempt at retaliation president Joe Biden's trash gaffe that outraged MAGA supporters. The Republican candidate donned an orange safety vest and planned a ride in a Trump-branded garbage truck.

But he had some Problems with execution the caper. As he reached for the taxi door handle, he missed (three times). His hand shook as he stumbled slightly before pulling himself inside. The Democrats had a heyday with the video footage.

Walz seized the moment and portrayed the 78-year-old Trump as older.

“You would think you would understand how a tariff works for 80 years,” he said.

During his speech, Walz played attack dog, suggesting that “smarter people than Donald Trump, that's a big chunk of people” have warned of higher costs if the Republican wins. He rebuked the former president for failing to get Mexico to pay for the border wall.

He also criticized comments Trump made while dressed as a trash collector when he said he would Protect women whether they want to or not.

The crowd laughed again, but Walz got serious, calling that comment “the scary part.”

According to polls, Kamala Harris has a clear lead over Trump among female voters. On Thursday, her vice president drew a clear line between Trump's recent comments and his past problems with women — including groping and, in the case of E. Jean Carroll, sexual assault.

“That’s how this guy lived his life,” Walz said. “That’s why he was on the Access Hollywood tape. And that's why he ended up in court. Because that’s what he’s thinking about.”
