Megan Thee Stallion admits she lied to Gayle King about sleeping with Tory Lanez in new documentary

Megan Thee Stallion admitted she lied to Gayle King in her new documentary “In Her Words” when she said she slept with Tory Lanez.

“Yes, bitch. I lied to Gayle King, bitch. First of all, I don't know if that bitch even asked me about that shit. I thought we were going to talk about this shooting,” she said in the newly released Amazon Prime documentary.

“Why are you asking me about the bloody Tory? That's not what this is about. Even if I… I would have fucked that once, maybe twice, on a drunken night. You always drove me crazy.”

In April 2022, the 29-year-old “Hot Girl Summer” rapper sat down for an interview with 69-year-old King on “CBS Mornings” to discuss the shooting and whether she and the 32-year-old Canadian rapper were more when they were just friends or not.

“What was the nature of your relationship with Tory Lanez because he led people to believe that it was a sexual relationship… that the two of you were together? What was the nature of it?” the famous journalist asked an emotional Megan.

The “Savage” host responded at the time: “We weren’t together. We were really close, we were friends. We hung out every day.”

Megan shared that she felt like she and Lanez, born Daystar Shemuel Shua Peterson, “bonded” over the fact that they both lost their mothers.

“Did you have a close relationship with him?” King asked again, to which the Houston rapper replied, “How sexual? Um, I didn’t have a sexual relationship with Tory.”

Megan then said she believed Lanez was trying to “distract from the fact that he had committed a crime” by telling the public that they had slept together.

After her confession, Ceasar McDowell, CEO of Unite the People, the nonprofit law firm representing Tory, told TMZ, “The fact that Megan lied about her sexual relationship with Tory obviously makes her an unreliable witness.” If anyone lies in front of millions of people, how can you trust what he says at another time?”

The “Say It” rapper was found guilty of shooting Megan in the foot during an argument in July 2020.

In August 2023, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the shooting.

After Lanez's conviction, he continued to maintain his innocence.

“I have never let a hard time intimidate me, I will never let a prison sentence eliminate me. Regardless of how they interpret my words, I have always maintained my innocence and always will,” he wrote in an Instagram post at the time.

Although he said he “takes responsibility for all the verbal and intimate moments I shared with the parties involved,” he “in no way apologized for the allegations of which I was wrongfully convicted.”
