Closing of bank branches will continue to make headlines this October. As the end of the month approaches, they haven't let up: 35 locations closed in just one week.

Not all Banks were involved in this round of branch closures, US Bank had the most closures, closing 11 locations between October 15 and October 22. Wells Fargo and Bank of America each closed six branches during PNC cut five. The rest was distributed Beverly Bank, Citizens Bank, Fidelity Bank, First National Bank of Omaha, Flagstar and Chase.

The state hit hardest by this downsizing attempt was California, which lost 9 stores this week alone, in addition to the 86 store closures statewide that already occurred between January and the end of September.

A spokesman for US Bank spoke with DailyMail.com and reflected on the closures: “Customers’ banking preferences and behaviors are changing, including a rapid migration to digital and mobile banking platforms, and the desire for more simplicity. As we continue to evolve with our customers, we are reassessing our physical presence and, in some cases, consolidating branch locations in select markets. Although we are closing some branches, We continue to open up and improve others and rapidly improve our digital capabilities.”

This Branch closures seem to have become the norm, for example with US Bank This year alone, 121 locations have now closed, but some customers disagree with the policy. Many older citizens have difficulty using this Online apps The Banks now use to provide their services, and some transactions can only be carried out in person with the help of one Bank tellerregardless of whether the customer wants to do this online or not.

And this doesn't take into account the habits people may have. Self-financed conducted a survey and found that 39 percent of respondents trusted banks with branches more than banks without them. Additionally, nearly two-thirds of Americans still use a physical location for manufacturing Cash depositswhile more than half use it to speak to a personal advisor
