Bronny James made his second NBA appearance on Wednesday in a match against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Los Angeles Lakers rookie checked in in the fourth quarter and received a big round of applause from the Cavaliers fans. He made his first NBA appearance in the Lakers' season opener, checking in briefly in the first half.

Shortly after entering the game, James scored his first career points on a stepback jumper.

After the basket, fans applauded James for scoring his first career points.

Bronny's first NBA points are in Cleveland, which is kind of crazy!

James hasn't seen much action so far in his young NBA career. He played just three minutes against the Minnesota Timberwolves last week, recorded one rebound and missed both shot attempts.

On Wednesday, he played five minutes and recorded two points, two assists and a steal.

It was a special moment for James when he got the chance to play and score his first points against the team he watched his father, LeBron James, play for as a child. The elder James spent the first seven years of his career in Cleveland and played four more seasons for the Cavs after his time with the Miami Heat.

He led Cleveland to five NBA Finals appearances and gave the franchise its first championship in 2016.

While James probably would have preferred to get on the board for the first time last week, there's nothing like scoring for the first time in your hometown.

Unfortunately, the circumstances weren't ideal for his first basket, as the Lakers lost heavily to the Cavs. James will look to continue to build on his performance on Wednesday and eventually contribute regularly for Los Angeles.
