2025 Rivals100 QB Carter Smith announces retirement from Michigan

Michigan has lost its only quarterback commitment in the 2025 recruiting class.

One of the very first commits, four-star Carter Smith, announced on social media Wednesday that he has retired from the Wolverines program.

Smith has been committed to the program since November 2023.
