On October 30, Netflix dropped the reunion special and brought the Season 7 cast back together to try out all their drama. For Nick, this meant a reunion with his ex-fiancée Hannah Jiles, who has been in a lot of trouble in recent weeks for constantly belittling and treating him in a “demeaning manner.”

When co-hosts Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey asked if she regretted what she said to Nick during their brief engagement, Hannah simply insisted that she was a “very direct” and “outspoken” person in her manner be.

“The things I said were all true, but it's just the way you say it,” she said, surprising everyone in the room except Nick.

“I didn't expect her to say anything less,” Nick then replied, adding that he was “confused” by many things Hannah said, including claims that he wasn't on the same level intellectually or financially she. and accused him of being disrespectful to her.

When asked for clarification again, Hannah doubled down on her statement, saying, “I'm just direct… that's who I am by nature.” She then joked, “I'm just a bitch sometimes, I get it, I know!”

Hannah eventually apologized to Nick, saying: “I'm sorry I was so cruel to you.” She admitted she had “room to grow” over the last year.

When Nick later insisted that Hannah was getting “way too much hate” online, Hannah asked why he liked the “hate” comments and “mean things” people were writing about her on social media.

She then discussed how, while packing her belongings, she found his notebook listing his “90-day goals,” which were supposedly written two weeks before he left for the pods. His goals included selling two houses, being in the best shape of his life and becoming “the most famous person of all time.” Love is blind.”

That revelation – which Nick dismissed as nothing serious, saying it was written “long before I knew I was going to be on the show” – led to a heated exchange between the two about his intentions to be on the show and Marissa even joined in the argument to defend Hannah.

“I took the show seriously,” Nick insisted.

Hannah argued that Nick was a “very calculated person” and seemed obsessed with fame. He even allegedly told strangers on the plane back from Mexico that they were filming a TV show and offered to fly a woman he wanted to DM to Los Angeles for the reunion. She then pointed out that Nick wasn't entirely open about his feelings for her, reportedly calling her a “bomb,” “ugly,” and a “5/10” to other cast members while she was “so perfect” for the cameras .

“Maybe you went in for the wrong reasons and he liked me and he didn't expect that… but be honest, that's not your reality,” Hannah told the real estate agent.

Although Nick repeatedly denied the “grenade” comment and claimed he “never” discussed Hannah's looks, other cast members – including Marissa, Monica, Stephen, Alex and Ramses – all supported Hannah and agreed that he did that behind her back had said.

Monica said she knew about it because Stephen told her when they were together, while Stephen admitted: “He talked to me about the grenade, but he didn't tell me how he actually felt… on the rating scale .”

Alex called it “confusing” that Nick denied the allegations, repeating, “Nick, you didn't like the way Hannah looked and everyone knew it.” Ramses also called on Nick to “take responsibility” and “level up.” stay, man, the things have been said.”

In the final moments of the heated exchange, Nick partially backed up his words, admitting: “I said I was blown away when I saw Hannah at the reveal. I never said she was a grenade.”

But Marissa wasn't convinced. “Yes, you were wrong, you were fucking wrong,” she screamed.

After failing to agree on everything from household and marital responsibilities to relationship expectations, Hannah decided not to go to her wedding dress appointment with the other women while Nick went to the fitting in episode 11 without his tuxedo. The two soon after, Hannah called things off, claiming Nick wasn't ready to get married.

“I think for me it just came down to: I saw my friends (with him), my family was there and I just had a moment where I was like, 'What am I doing?'” Hannah later recalled to PEOPLE . “If I still see all these problems and I'm just mean to this man, I feel like I'm just persecuting this man. That's probably not someone I want to be married to. Everything just fell into place.” We shouldn’t come to this realization together.
