The Edenbridge Bonfire Society has unveiled its latest Guy Fawkes effigy and it's a pretty iconic take on the Oasis Ticketmaster scandal.

On November 5, an 11 meter tall Guy Fawkes is set to be burned on a bonfire by Oasis brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher, depicted in a hilarious effigy.

The giant Guy Fawkes depicts the brothers as puppets, maneuvered by a man in a suit, with increasing ticket prices printed all over the suit.

The wads of cash falling out of the bag had a clear message that paid homage to the Ticketmaster pricing scandal.

The scandal made the brothers a lot of money, but resulted in many fans paying inflated prices due to the introduction of dynamic pricing, which caused prices to skyrocket due to high demand.

It has since been reported that thousands of fans could now lose their tickets as overpriced tickets are to be recalled and sold at a lower price.

The company has been producing Guy Fawkes for decades. Her website features images of men portrayed like James Hewitt in 1994, by Anne Robinson in 2001 and by Edwina Currie in 2002.

In 2020 and 2021, the effigies were put on hold due to lockdown restrictions, which may be why Guy Fawkes has been so spectacular in recent years.

The guy is scheduled to be burned this weekend in a fantastic show that begins with a procession through the city and ends in a fiery bonfire.
