JD Vance is taping an interview with Joe Rogan on Wednesday to give Donald Trump even more of a boost with his appearance on the show. The candidates expect Rogan to help them present their cases to a large audience of potential young male voters, and Kamala Harris had signed up for an interview to that end, but it was put on hold because Rogan was unhappy with the trip to see her was and that Vice President wanted to come to his recording studio in Austin. “They offered an appointment for Tuesday, but I would have had to travel to see her and they only wanted to stay an hour,” Rogan said. “I firmly believe this is best done in the studio in Austin. My sincere wish is to simply have a nice conversation and get to know her as a person. I really hope we can do it.” Vance's spot comes a week after Trump's three-and-a-half-hour meeting with Rogan, which was viewed over 37 million times on YouTube alone. Vance has no qualms about meeting the infamous podcaster and former UFC commentator in person. He will travel to Texas for the interview.
