WASHINGTON – Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are in a dead heat in two key swing states a week before Election Day, according to new CNN polls from SSRS.

Among likely voters in Arizona, Harris leads Trump 48% to 47%, while Trump leads Harris 48% to 47% among likely voters in Nevada.

The poll was conducted among 781 registered voters in Arizona and 683 registered voters in Nevada.

Both candidates were within polling margins of error of plus or minus 4.4 percentage points among likely voters in Arizona and plus or minus 4.6 percentage points among likely voters in Nevada. The survey was conducted between October 21st and 26th.

When poll respondents were asked which candidate they trusted to lead the economy, Harris trailed Trump. Thirty-nine percent of likely voters in Arizona and 41 percent of likely voters in Nevada said they trusted her to handle the issue. By comparison, 50% of likely voters in Arizona and 50% of likely voters in Nevada trust Trump to handle the economy. The remaining respondents in both states said they did not trust either candidate.

Trump also led Harris in the polls on foreign policy and immigration. But voters likely trusted Harris more than Trump to protect democracy and reproductive rights.

Fifty-one percent of Arizona respondents said they would have chosen Harris when it came to reproductive rights, compared to 35 percent who said they trust Trump and 13 percent who did not name a candidate. In Nevada, 53% chose Harris, 32% chose Trump and 15% said neither.
