Tom Brady only found out about Gisele Bündchen's pregnancy days ago

Tom Brady just learned a few days ago that his ex-supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen is expecting their first child with her jiu-jitsu instructor boyfriend Joaquim Valente.

A source told Page Six that Brady found out last week that Bündchen was pregnant.

TMZ reported that the Brazilian beauty is around five or six months old, meaning the baby is due in early 2025.

Another well-informed source in Miami, Florida, who is familiar with Brady, confirmed, “Tom only recently found out that Gisele was pregnant.”

Although the couple has two children together, Ben, 14, and Vivian, 11, the same source added that it was Bündchen's style to keep the pregnancy a secret from the former NFL pro.

“Tom is great, a very nice, normal guy,” the insider said.

“Gisele is… completely different. She’s really hot and cold,” the source said.

When asked what the former couple's relationship is like these days, the source added: “I think they talk when they need to.” Adding: “Tom does his best for the kids and puts them first position, and that's all that matters – he's trying his best.”

Representatives of the ex-partners did not comment.

Brady has remained quiet about the pregnancy news since the news broke in celebrity-friendly People magazine on Monday.

The former Super Bowl champion, 47, only shared a cryptic song about “change.”

He posted a sunset photo via Instagram Stories that featured the Chicks' 2022 cover of Fleetwood Mac's “Landslide.”

The famous text in the post read: “Oh, mirror in heaven, what is love? / Can the child in my heart rise / Can I sail through the changing tides of the ocean / Can I handle the seasons of my life?”

The former quarterback's post came hours after sources revealed that Bündchen was expecting it.

According to TMZ, Bündchen, 44, and her new boyfriend, 37, are reportedly waiting to find out the baby's gender.

The outlet also said that the model informed Brady about the pregnancy before the news broke – but did not say when she told him.

She has not yet commented on her pregnancy. As she left a Pilates studio in Miami two weeks ago, she appeared to cover her baby bump with a large handbag.

Bündchen and Valente began dating in June 2023, less than a year after Bündchen and Brady announced in October 2022 that they were divorcing after 13 years of marriage.

Brady is also father to 17-year-old son Jack with his ex Bridget Moynahan.

“Gisele and Joaquim are excited about this new chapter in their lives and look forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the entire family,” an insider close to the couple told People on Monday.

She and Valente sparked dating rumors in November 2022 after the martial arts master was seen accompanying the famous model and her children on vacation in Costa Rica.

The outing came just a month after she filed for divorce from Brady.

Bündchen denied at the time that there was anything romantic between her and the fitness instructor who taught her and her children martial arts.
