Tyler, the creator's latest studio album CHROMACOPY has arrived.

The 14-track project lasts nearly an hour and features contributions from the likes of Doechii, GloRilla, Daniel Caesar, Thundercat, Willow Smith, Teezo Touchdown, Donald Glover, Lil Wayne, Sexyy Red, ScHoolboy Q and more. The sequel to 2021 Call me if you get lost It is believed to have been inspired by Chroma the Great, a conductor of the late Norton Juster The Phantom Tollbooth who creates colors with his orchestra – which may explain the artist's use of monochromatic colors in this album cycle.

CHROMACOPY hears that Tyler still sticks to his rap roots, but is now moving on a more expansive musical level, using more obscure and hidden samples scattered throughout the tracks. This attention to musical detail works more in his favor than against him, and that's no surprise when you consider the artist's career. BASTARD lies in a completely different sound space compared to Call me if you get lost. and Tyler himself has never been the type to shy away from showcasing his creative growth. Uncompromising and as artistic as ever, the only question now is whether or not his listeners will join him on this sonic adventure.
