We've been waiting all day and it's almost time Football on Sunday evenings. After a week off, it's almost time for the Cowboys' game against the San Francisco 49ers and the inactive list is out.

Rico Dowdle is a surprising name on this list, as he suddenly fell ill upon arriving at the stadium for tonight's game in San Francisco. Dalvin Cook was activated earlier this week and it appears the Cowboys offense will have to rely on him a little more than initially expected.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Cowboys hoped the bye week would bring much-needed rest to so many injured players. However, it looks like it wasn't enough. DaRon Bland was poised to play against the Detroit Lions in Week 6, but suffered a setback and will remain on IR for today's matchup. Micah Parsons and Caelen Carson will also need at least another week before they are ready for game day. However, there is some help on the way as Eric Kendricks returns to the field. The Cowboys will appreciate him taking the lead again in the middle of the defense.

Other inactive Cowboys include Andrew Booth, Deuce Vaughn, Matt Waletzko and Trey Lance (emergency QB).

The 49ers have also been plagued by injuries this season. Christian McCaffrey and Brandon Aiyuk are both on IR. George Kittle and Deebo Samuel were both on the injury report this week. Kittle with a foot injury and Samuel with an illness. The 49ers have taken a break and are both active for today's game.

The 49ers' inactives include Kelvin Givens, Jake Moody, Jauan Jennings, Ben Bartch, Jalen Graham, Rock Ya-Sin and Joshua Dobbs.
