All-time history between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs

In 1963, the Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs played together for the first time. The Raiders were representing Oakland at the time and this game was the start of an epic rivalry.

These two teams have clashed several times throughout their history and have played in the same division for most of their time. Throughout these seasons and games there have been some historic performances, thrilling last-second finishes, defeats and everything in between.

Sunday marks the 128th time these two teams will face each other on the gridiron. The Raiders have an overall record of 54-71-2 with the Chiefs having the upper hand, but Raider Nation's main concern is turning that 54 into a 55 as the final seconds come to a close on Sunday at Allegiant Stadium.

The Raiders and Chiefs have even dueled in the playoffs three times. The first playoff game was in 1968 when the Raiders hosted Kansas City and demolished it in the divisional round, winning 41-6, which Raider Nation witnessed firsthand.

A few years later, the Chiefs made the playoffs and learned the lesson from their final postseason loss to the Raiders when they upset the Silver and Black on the road and advanced to the playoffs, defeating the Raiders 17-7.
