Robert Lewandowski scored twice and Lamine Yamal added a third to ruin Kylian Mbappé's first Clasico as Barcelona cruised to a 4-0 win over Real Madrid on Saturday.

Lewandowski scored in the 54th minute after a great pass from Barcelona's newest young talent Marc Casadó and headed the second goal three minutes later to silence the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

Overall, the Polish striker scored goals 16 and 17 this season, taking his best tally in the league to 14. He also hit the post.

Yamal was denied in the 77th minute when the 17-year-old phenom fired a shot from an angle over goalkeeper Andriy Lunin to become the youngest Clásico goalscorer. Raphinha joined the burgundy and blue party when he broke free as Madrid pushed forward and Lunin saved in the 84th minute.

Mbappé had a frustrating first game against Barcelona in the white jersey.

The French star was repeatedly found offside by Barcelona's synchronized back four and failed to beat backup goalkeeper Iñaki Peña one-on-one as his side trailed by two goals.

Meanwhile, Hansi Flick had a memorable night in the first Clásico for the German coach.

Barcelona have opened up a six-point lead at the top of LaLiga after 11 rounds over second-placed Madrid.
