Philly is still a dumpster fire. Jersey makes a lot of sense. I could see him wanting to play in Toronto, but only slightly. I just don't understand the Chicago thing. Now who will have the hat for him? Not too many of them, unless not only do we have to watch him burst into tears, but we also have to swallow bad contracts? I just don't think Guerin is capable of that and it could cost him his job. This may require OCL when meeting Kaprizov.

I still think this is where his best chance of winning lies. This team is on the rise. The pieces are starting to fit together, but there are still a lot of pieces lying on the garage floor. But they are getting closer and closer to being installed in the car. I think Kaprizov sees the youth and realizes that there is a lot of talent coming along.

Would he want to live in Detroit? Would he want to live in Ottawa, Buffalo? How about Utah? These are the franchises that may be about to launch. Maybe even Vancouver. I just don't think the big cities on the East Coast are his preferred destination.

A good thought might be to find out what his girlfriend wants.

WHAT – is probably my least favorite travel destination, so I admit it

PHI – Dumpster fire is true, but let’s take a closer look, shall we? We have a big Russian community, a great Russian phenom playing in Mitchkov, a potentially great pick this year, and what do you say, have they just hired a very popular Russian coach, Oleg Znarok, to their scouting department? The coach is very loved by all Russians and Kap too? I guess I'd add this news to the “dumpster fire” line – is that perhaps worth worrying about?

NJ – yes, playing with Hughes, playing against other New York teams and Panarin and just an East Coast atmosphere that undoubtedly appeals to all Russian players

TOR – oh imagine if Matthews and Kap teamed up to bring the Cup to Toronto, very interesting

Who gets a hat? Well, everyone! Why can't they? Any of these teams can clear salary, or most of them don't even have to, their cap list is better than ours! yes, surprise!
