How many points did Bronny James score today? Complete stats, results and highlights from Lakers vs Suns

1 minute, 17 seconds Read

The Lakers' plan for Bronny James became much clearer on Friday when reports surfaced that the franchise intends to send the rookie to the G League following his five-game road trip. For now, though, that means James will be available to coach JJ Redick until November 6th.

James, 20, made history in his NBA debut by joining his father to become the first father-son duo in NBA history to share the floor. He played about two minutes, missing his first two shot attempts, before sitting out the second half.

James' path to playing time will likely be blocked in a close game. However, a lopsided result, regardless of which team is favored, could be enough to send the rookie onto the court for some developmental minutes. The Lakers are certainly hoping they can build a big enough lead against the Suns on Friday to make that scenario possible.

Here's a look at James' stats from the Lakers' game against Phoenix on Friday night.

Bronny James Highlights vs Suns

Bronny James played nine minutes in his NBA debut against the Warriors earlier this week, but the 20-year-old did not see the court in the first half of that game. He also didn't play in the first two quarters against the Suns on Friday.

His father, LeBron James, finished the first half with four points on 2-of-6 shooting from the floor.
