Delaware began early in-person voting on Friday as much of the country began going to the polls.

Here's how to cast your vote in Delaware, a reliably Democratic state that is the home of President Biden and the headquarters of Vice President Kamala Harris' presidential campaign.

Vote by mail

Postal voting began at the end of September. Mail-in ballots are available to all voters in the state of Delaware. Absentee ballots must be received by the precinct's Department of Elections office by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.

Early in-person voting

Early in-person voting will be available at designated locations in each county from October 25 to November 3.

Voter registration

The deadline for Delaware residents to register to vote was October 12th.
