“To state the obvious,” Taylor Swift fans attending the Eras tour in New Orleans tonight are getting their perfect fantasy, as the singer says in “Pictures to Burn.”

Swift begins her three-day tour stop in New Orleans on the 18th anniversary of her debut album, “Self-Titled,” released on October 25, 2006.

Swifties from all over the world have taken over the city as they prepare to attend one of the three shows or enjoy one of the many Taylor Swift-themed events taking place in the city.

Swift's current tour setlist does not include any regular songs from her self-titled album. The pop star sometimes incorporates select archive songs into her surprise song portion of the concert, such as when Swift sings acoustic versions of random songs from her 274-track catalog.

Sometimes tracks like “Tim McGraw” and “Teardrops on My Guitar” are played during the acoustic set.

Internet sleuths Swifties have linked some of Swift's recent plaid outfits to the green room in Swift's Lover House and are hoping the singer will soon announce the release of at least one of her last two re-recorded albums.

The “Lover House” appears in the background as Swift sings songs from her album “Lover” during the Eras Tour and has rooms that represent each era. The green room was described by fans as representing the singer's debut album.

Herb Sudzin, who founded the country radio alternative Sudzin Country, interviewed Swift in 2007. In the interview, Swift revealed that she had written about 250 songs before releasing her first studio album, which was reduced to 14 songs.

When releasing new recordings of her albums, Swift also includes songs considered to be from the vault, such as “I'd Lie,” which Swift wrote about a crush and performed at her high school talent show.

Regardless of whether Swift makes an announcement or not, there will surely be Swifties in New Orleans screaming “Our Song” or “Should've Said No” to commemorate the singer's 18-year career.
