Update: Black Ops 6 is now available worldwide and will be released early for all platforms in all regions. And the launch seems to be going incredibly smoothly so far! Have fun out there!

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is just around the corner and players can start the game within a few hours and try out the single-player campaign, turn-based Zombies mode and multiplayer mode. Depending on your region and platform of choice, the game starts at different times. Read on to find out exactly when you can start working.

Black Ops 6 launches with a campaign set during the Gulf War in the early '90s, the first turn-based Zombies mode in years, and 16 all-new multiplayer maps, with an old favorite returning just days after launch in the form of the original Nuketown map. The free game War zone Integrates with Black Ops 6 Mid-November, with a brand new Resurgence card joining the rotation and all that Black Ops 6 Weapons and the exciting “Omnimovement” system.

For Xbox Game Pass subscribers: Black Ops 6 will be free to play, but you can still spend money on in-game purchases, including the Battle Pass coming with Season 1.

Here you can start playing the main game on Steam, Battle.net, Xbox and PlayStation.

Black Ops 6 PC launch time

Black Ops 6 arrives on PC on Thursday, October 24th at 9:00 p.m. PT. This means the game will go live on Steam and Battle.net at the following times based on your time zone:

  • October 24, 9pm PDT for the west coast of North America
  • 12pm EDT on Oct. 25 for the east coast of North America
  • October 25, 5am BST for Great Britain
  • 6 a.m. CEST on Oct. 25 for Western Europe/Paris
  • 1:00 p.m. JST on Oct. 25 for Tokyo

Microsoft Store players follow the same release schedule as console players.

Black Ops 6 launch time for Xbox and PlayStation

The calculation is a little easier for console players. Basically, Black Ops 6 goes live on the Microsoft Store, Xbox and PlayStation Friday, October 25th, midnight local time.

This means that you could theoretically change your region in the game and unlock the game early, however this always runs the risk of jeopardizing your account as it is technically against the terms of service. However, players do this every year and I have never seen anyone get in trouble for it. The so-called “New Zealand Trick” allows players in later regions to start playing much earlier. Midnight in New Zealand on the 25th is 4am PT on the 24th. Players who choose this route do so at their own risk.

Season 1 release date and Warzone integration

While Activision has not yet officially announced the launch date for Black Ops 6 Thanks to a leak from a pizza partner, we know pretty well when this will be the case in season 1. This should also mark the date Warzones full integration with the new game and hopefully the release of the Area 99 Resurgence map. The leak is almost certainly reliable, as the in-game season countdown currently shows that the current season will end in 20 days.
