Jelly Roll beats his 100-pound weight loss goal on tour: 'You won't recognize me'

That same week, Jelly Roll landed its first-ever No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 Beautifully brokenThe country star revealed that he also reached another impressive milestone: losing 100 pounds.

In a video update shared with fans on Instagram on Monday (October 21), Jelly pulled back the curtain on his fitness regimen while on tour. “Next year when you all see me, you won't recognize me,” he says in the clip, which then cuts to the “Son of a Sinner” singer's personal chef.

“Jelly did it,” nutrition coach Ian Larios tells the camera between clips of Jelly working out and performing on stage. “Running around the arenas, playing basketball, boxing. He just passed his 100 pound weight loss.”

The post comes about six months after the two-time Grammy nominee revealed he lost 30 pounds while preparing for the 2 Bears 5K in April. Jelly has long been open about his weight loss and fitness goals, sharing back in 2018 that he once weighed more than 500 pounds.

Not only is Jelly successful on his journey to health, but he currently has the No. 1 album in the country Beautifully brokenwhich was discontinued on October 10th. With 161,000 equivalent album units sold in its first week, the project is his first project to top the Billboard 200 and follows its previous peak at No. 3 in 2023 Whitsitt Chapel.

Also on Monday, Bunnie XO – who is married to the “Need a Favour” musician – shared her reaction to the chart news. “Her!” she wrote on Instagram Stories, adding a sobbing emoji. “We made it!!!!!!”
