Blues forward Robert Thomas broke his ankle while blocking a shot on Tuesday night and will be reevaluated in six weeks, the Blues announced Wednesday morning.

Thomas blocked a slap shot from Neal Pionk in the first two minutes of the third period during a 3-2 loss to the Jets on Tuesday night and had two more appearances the rest of the game. He did not play for the last 11:46 minutes of the game.

During Wednesday morning's practice, Brayden Schenn highlighted Brandon Saad and Oskar Sundqvist (since Jake Neighbors also didn't practice). Jordan Kyrou, who had played with Thomas up front, was reunited with Alexandre Texier and Pavel Buchnevich, a line that began the season together in Seattle.
