The Celtics did their best, firing 13 shots from 3-point range to break the NBA record for 3s in a game – and missed them all. In the end, all defending champions were able to help Their 132-109 victory over the New York Knicks on Tuesday night tied the record of 29 3s set by Milwaukee in 2020.

“It was almost like we were jinxed or something,” said Jaylen Brown, who scored 23 points and was 5 of 9 from 3-point range but threw an airball that had a chance to break the record .
