Rhode Island is slowly rising in the polls, climbing five spots this week. They want to break through the top 15 with a win against New Hampshire.

UNH is 4-2 this season and 2-0 in the conference. They were upset a few weeks ago with a 28-23 loss to Harvard before rebounding with a 17-10 win at Elon. They want to stay on track and steadily climb up the polls

Fumbled punt makes it 12-3

URI took advantage of a UNH mistake on a punt return, knocking it in and extending its lead with five players remaining in the third. They edge out UNH and have the ball again to extend their lead.

URI goes up by six in the third minute

URI kicks a 20-yard field goal 6 minutes into the third quarter to extend its lead to 5-2.

UNH takes a 45 minute lead with 23 seconds left in the half as both defenses really shine in this defensive battle.

The defense strikes first

After a scoreless first five minutes of the second quarter, URI came up big on defense and special teams, secured a safety and took a 2-0 lead.

Both teams shined defensively in the first quarter as the game remained goalless.
